Building Blocks is the new host of CodeUp Manchester – a mentoring program for adults to learn how to code for free.
Our conference room will be used to showcase projects and run group talks and introduction sessions, whilst our suite of meetings rooms are available for group work on individual projects, or to learn specific languages.
“CodeUp is a brilliant initiative. I love sharing my knowledge and helping people develop their skills - it’s really rewarding! If you want to learn to code, we're here to help." Dan Furze, a Senior Front End Developer here at Building Blocks and volunteer CodeUp mentor.
Co-founded by Clare Dodd and Pam Wheeler, CodeUp Manchester has been running for four months and is growing in popularity. The sessions are free to attend, and are open to everyone aged over eighteen. Visit the CodeUp website to find out more.
