SDL has made a global announcement about Building Blocks' extensive experience in delivering SDL technology implementations.
Building Blocks and SDL have partnered on more than 60 successful joint technology implementations to improve customer experience for marquee brands, including Celebrity Cruises, Guinness World Records and Adama Agricultural Solutions.
Through this partnership, Building Blocks’ expertise in identifying digital opportunities that will increase revenues, develop relationships and improve efficiencies is combined with SDL's ability to transform global customer experiences.
Celebrity Cruises “delighted with the seamless success”
As one of the many successful implementations, Celebrity Cruises turned to Building Blocks and SDL Web, a key component of SDL’s Customer Experience Cloud, to improve the mobile journey for its website, increase conversion and deliver a positive brand experience in line with the company’s modern luxury values.
“At Celebrity Cruises, it’s important that our customers have a consistent and local web experience on the device of their choosing. SDL and Building Blocks helped us to achieve this, rolling out a successful mobile-first strategy that we continue to develop to meet the needs of our growing customer base,” said Toby Shaw, Director of Marketing & PR, Celebrity Cruises.
The site’s improved itinerary content, powerful imagery and simplified booking process has improved conversion rates and with the success of the new mobile-responsive website in Ireland, Celebrity Cruises launched the co.uk site in March of 2015. Early results of the project include:
- 12% increase in bookings from mobile/tablet devices in the first two weeks of launching the .co.uk site;
- 3% increase in online revenue for UK in first two weeks;
- 140% increase in online revenue for Ireland since launch.
Guinness World Records’ documentation of records
Guinness World Records also benefits from a collaboration between Building Blocks and SDL. With a database of over 40,000 world records and 1,000 new applications being received each week, the organisation sought a solution to improve the efficiency of recording, storing and managing its record database.
Following its implementation, Guinness World Records has transformed the processes for creating and managing records with a centralised tool to speed up customer response times, drive predictable results and improve the accuracy and re-use of information.
Adama Agricultural Solutions rebrand rewarded with results
Another Building Blocks and SDL client, Adama Agricultural Solutions, undertook a global re-branding and digital centralisation project across its 45 operating markets to launch its new company name, uniform branding across all international subsidiaries, and the centralisation of its digital operations.
Building Blocks and SDL helped Adama launch a major rebrand, providing a central, global content management system and managed the roll-out of the company’s 49 new websites.
As a result, the company now has a consistent image, websites that reflect the specific needs and target audiences in each country, and improved global brand perception. The implementation was recognised with the prestigious Agrow Award for “Best Marketing Campaign” for the global brand launch.
