Yesterday saw Building Blocks host another SDL Tridion Technical User Group in our Manchester office.
First up was Rob Stevenson-Leggett and I talking about Continuous Integration in Tridion. This was our first run through of the presentation we are doing at the SDL Tridion Developer Summit in May. We talked about the journey we have made in our drive for Continuous Integration as well as showing how we're now on a path for Continuous Delivery both with the WebForms and DD4T.
We got some great feedback from people in the room and it also sparked a lot of idea generation which is exactly what we wanted. We'll be blogging more about this once we've done the final presentation in Amsterdam.
Bart Koopman was up second talking about ECL and BluePrinting. He provided a great technical explanation of ECL and then showed us how you can get it to work in your BluePrint model and showed how localisation of the ECL items are possible (with quite a bit of custom code).
Thanks to all those that turned up and get in touch if you would like to come along and talk at the next one.
