SDL Product Setup Wizard ended prematurely (Cloned Tridion Environment)

If you ever come across an SDL Tridion Product Installation ending prematurely while installing on a Cloned Tridion machine, you may need to check two places in your Registry.

Please make sure you backup your registry before making any changes!

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > Tridion > Installer

Change the reference to your machine in system_account_domain and the 2 x Privileges_DefaultLaunchPermissions


HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > Tridion > TcmSearch > Installer

Change the reference to your machine name in system_account_domain


Change every mention of your machine name and reboot and the problem should be solved.
