Building Blocks has climbed nine places in this year’s Econsultancy Top 100 Digital Agencies report, the definitive listing of the UK’s largest agencies. Free to download for Econsultancy subscribers, the Top 100 report includes analysis and commentary on the state of industry, alongside information about each of the listed agencies.
Building Blocks was first featured in Econsultancy’s report last year, having previously been highlighted as ‘ones to watch’. Based on UK fee income for the 2014/15 financial year, ranking 84th in this year’s listing reflects our continued strong growth in the UK.
Our operations in the US and Spain, which are not taken into account in the Econsultancy report, have also shown impressive growth; we have just closed our 2015/16 financial year, and it was our most successful to date, with revenue increasing 25%.
In May this year, Building Blocks announced its new parent company, Dept – an international network of leading digital agencies. With Building Blocks joining the group, Dept has grown to over 350 employees with a joint revenue in excess of €45 million, and offices in the UK, US, Spain, and the Netherlands. Dept’s aim is to double its turnover to €100 million over the next five years.
